If "a picture is worth a thousand words" what is a video ad worth?

1. According to a study by Google and AOL conducted by market insight and information group TNS, 75% of respondents reported watching more video online than they did a year ago, and over half expect to watch more online video in the next year.

2. 78% feel that online video ads provide as much or more of an opportunity to learn about a product or service than television, and 63 % said they prefer video sites to include advertising if it helps keep content free. Apparently the online community is embracing video much more willingly than expected.

3. 64% of respondents have taken action after seeing an online video, 44 % going to the advertiser's Web site, 33 % searching for a product or service, 22 % visiting an actual off-line store, and 21 % discussing the advertised product with friends or family. So not only does online video bring in new business, it gets the ball rolling on that elusive buzz marketing campaign.

4. The responses came from 2,394 online users between 18 and 54 years old. The study also found that online video ads result in 32 % of viewers describing the featured brand as innovative, 32 % as creative, and 30 % as fun.

5. Video Ads dramatically increase the "7 second" widow. This is the average time that a visitor to a website takes to decide whether or not to stay or leave. Video ads help keep visitors on your site longer so that they can understand the value that you bring to the table.

Video Ads. These are short videos that are designed to drive traffic to your site.

The process is to create several versions and upload them to multiple video publishing sites. The upload process is very time consuming but with the right tools that can cut the upload time considerably.

Because the video sites are so heavily indexed by the search engines it is easy to get high rankings in a very short period of time. Depending on the number of competing pages, first page ranking can happen in under 24 hours.

Content Video: These videos can serve as either ads that provide valuable information and point customers to your site or as informational content on your site that explains your products or services.

Both are very power tools to increase website traffic.

Basics of Health Insurance

By Jeff Cline

Health insurance can prove to be confusing to many consumers. Understanding the basics is key to maintaining individual health insurance that meets your needs and expectations as well as your budget. By educating yourself with the basics you can accomplish that. Here are 7 basics to get you started.

The first basic detail in health insurance is the Life Time limit they set, or the Lifetime Maximum. If you should have a critical illness such as cancer and extra $2million is a major benefit not to be overlooked. If your Lifetime Maximum is $3million, that is the most it shall ever payout.

Deductible is important basic knowledge when it comes to health insurance. The lower your deductible amount the more you can expect to pay in premium. The deductible must be met by the consumer before the insurance company agrees to share the cost.

The next factor is the co insurance. Co insurance is when you have met your deductible and you only pay a percentage for an additional amount. An example is you pay 25% while the insurer pays 75% up to $3000. Once this amount is met the insurer would then pay 100% of any allowed medical cost within that year.

Another often misunderstood part of insurance is Co Pays. If your plan has built in Co pays for Office Visits you pay only the co pay amount even if you have not met your deductible or co insurance. There are some exceptions, if not noted in the plan as included in office visit you would still have to pay lab and x-rays.

A good understanding of the Preventative benefit is also key to comparing and understanding your benefits. Not all plans include Preventative visits. A Preventative exam is a screening and non diagnostic exam meant to maintain good health and foresee any problems with health. Sometimes the benefit will cover many different test and labs, while some will only cover a certain amount.

Each plan has limits set forth by the carrier/insurer/insurance company as well. Some examples of limits are: You are only allowed a specific number of office visits. You are allowed a certain dollar amount on things such as prescription benefits, labs, mental health and emergency visits. These are important to pay attention to when choosing and comparing plans.

Another item that is specific is Prescription/RX/Medication coverage. Some plans have a Co pay depending on they type of prescription. Some only offer discounts and some cover absolutely nothing. Many plans also have limits to the amount they will pay per year as noted in #6.

Health Insurance Rates Skyrocketing

By Ethan Kalvin

Many individuals have become increasingly aware that health insurance is completely out of their reach. With the cost of health care skyrocketing to an unbelievable high, we have to wonder, how can we afford this? Not only are we reaching deep in our pockets as a nation, we are reaching, struggling and dying for these costs.

High health care costs are debilitating for many. But just as big a problem is the fact that many don't understand how health insurance components work and how we can make them work for us. Many don't understand the deductible system, and how or when it resets itself. Many can't describe the difference between a PPO and an HMO. The expenses alone are enough to distract us, but the fact that there doesn't seem to be a place to go to sort it all out and get clear answers is even worse.

As humans, we understand that drugs and medical equipment need to be tested. We get that procedures are going to be pricey, but we also know that we are paying more than what should be required. Many of us have been blindsided, and insurance companies seem to be profiting very nicely from all of our struggles. More Americans are being treated with antidepressants than ever before. The amount of prescriptions that are subscribed is far from comprehensible.

Each year, the number of new drugs approved by the FDA is astounding. Escaping these medications is just not possible. We are bombarded with advertisements on TV, radio, internet and billboards every way we turn. How many new products do we need which are supposed to do basically the same thing as last year's new product?

It is no secret that millions of Americans are struggling to take care of their bodies both mentally and physically. We have let this necessity slip right through our unsuspecting hands. Paying for health care is no longer a choice; for many of us, it simply is not an option. Undoubtedly, we will continue to struggle. As for the middle class and the poor, it seems we have all accepted that if we cannot pay for our health care in a traditional way, we will be paying for it with our lives.

Credit Card History

By Jason Asthworth

The concept of using a credit card came to be by Edward Bellamy in his 1887 novel Looking Backward. He wrote about a person having a credit card and making purchases such as we do today.

Credit cards were first utilized by motorists in the United States in the 1920s during the car boom. They were however originally referred to as charge cards and with time, various firms permitted the use of different cards. In those days it was a piece of cake to forge a credit card since many of them were printed onto a type of card material and not plastic as they are nowadays.

During the 1930s and 1940s another form of the credit card occurred. It was known as the Charga-Plate and was made of a fairly small piece of metal, which had the owners name, city of residence, and the state in which that person lived imprinted into it. It also contained a small piece of card for a signature. Only the large retailers made use of these, and they were only issued to their everyday clients. Most often, the Charga-Plates were kept at the store.

The Diners Club was founded in 1950 by Frank X. McMcNamara and Ralph Schneider. The club card allowed people to use it instead of various other cards. The Diners Club card required payment in full each month, unlike the credit cards of today. Instead of being a credit card as we know it in 2009, it was like running a monthly tab which had to be paid at the end of the month.

The next card to come along was Carte Blanche and then American Express in 1958. American Express led to the creation of a global credit card system. The Visa system also came into existence in 1958 via Bank of Americas Bank Americard. MasterCard came into the world in 1966 and it was first known as MasterCharge.

The US bank system made it possible for people traveling to use credit cards in various places across the country, since they could not access their home banks.

The U.K. was the first country to release the credit card in 1966. Other countries were not still agreed to it, as reliability and security of it was also in question and people also were giving their preferences to cash payments.

Credit cards are now being tested that have a microchip implanted to reduce fraud. Another type of credit card being tested is the Affinity Card. This is a co-sponsored card by the issuer and an organization that carry certain features such as discounts or cash back.

Usually, when your earning increases you are more able to return debt of your credit card which ultimately lead you to increase use of the credit card.

Making Clickbank Easy

By Graham McKenzie

As with any affiliate marketing product, getting started can be difficult, and becoming successful can be even more so. Becoming an affiliate on Clickbank " as one of the best ways to make money online " can be a popular first choice for anyone looking to make a profit with affiliate marketing.

The first step when you start marketing is to find the products or services you want to sell. These must be unique enough to stand out in a crowd but also something you are interested in. Make sure your product is not something that disinterests you or you risk quitting before you make any real money.

Once you have chosen the product(s), you should make a website for them. This site should be sparse " do not put any Google Adwords to try to make extra money or advertise other Clickbank products unrelated to the products you are selling.

You can create a blog, though that can be time consuming because you need to keep it updated regularly. Instead, you may want to simply do a review site and either review the related products together or review the single product with the Clickbank Hoplink somewhere at the end. Try to optimize these reviews with keywords.

The second you have finished the site, you could move towards the next step. Here is where keeping interest is vital- the next step will be article marketing, this is done by creating keyword rich articles which you then submit to free directories at no cost.

Article writing can be time consuming, especially if you do not find the product interesting. These article only need to be 300-500 words, but they should be at least moderately informative and contain a 3% keyword density in order to ensure the maximum hits.

Begin by writing 20 articles, each using a different keyword. Then post them to sites such as ezinearticles.com which is free. There are several other free sites such as this. These will eventually show up in google's search engine and lead to generating several hits to your website.

The limit of posting things on the site is only until 3. The site that you are in now are keeping only few articles. On a later part they erase it on the web.

However, if your article was effective, you should have received anywhere from 20-400 hits per article. Every 100 hits should give you 20-50 hits to the site you are affiliated with, and if that website has been fashioned correctly, you should get at least 2-3 sales per 100 hits. Thus a set of 20 articles (which can be completed in just a few days) can earn you over $1,000 in income.

This method will also place your website higher in search rankings so that you no longer have to write articles. Once your site makes it to the first or second search page, you can move on to your website while receiving passive income from the highly-ranked site.

You need to make sure that you choose a good niche that is known to make sales but is not too competitive. If you can find this niche, you can use this free and simple strategy to get your Clickbank affiliate marketing business started before you learn some of the more complicated methods.
