If you take even the slightest interest in online marketing, you must have heard about "Affiliate Payload" and "4 Tier Annihilation Method". These are recent products by well know marketing duo Alex Goad and Saj P. Now they have a new project that will soon be released, which is called The Site Rush.
In The Site Rush they are going to reveal all the ins and outs of the most lucrative kind of business you can have online: Website Flipping. This is basically the buying and selling of websites. The authors call it "virtual real estate".
All good and well, but is there money to be made? Let's see a few ways how website flipping can be lucrative.
If you look around on the internet with the eye of a marketeer, a few things are pretty obvious. First of all, (and you don't have to be a marketeer to notice this one) there are a lot of very poorly made websites.
You can also find websites that ARE good, that people like to use and spend time on, but they are not making money. Or maybe just a little. After all, turning a good website into a cash machine is a skill on its own.
The last category are websites that are good enough, that also have good monetizing built into them, but they just don't have enough visitors to make it work. How come? Well, usually it's a matter of poorly done SEO. If people don't find the site, they don't use it.
So how can we use this information to our benefit? You have to remember that the internet is not a "fixed" place. Because it is so new, there is still lots of room to manoeuvre.
Most online markets are pretty much wide open for you, me or anyone else to enter and eventually take over with a solid website and service. It's a matter of finding that site that lacks in one of the three topics I listed above: It's poorly made, poorly monetized or the SEO is not good. If you can buy that website and improve it, you might strike gold!
Can anyone do this? Well I really doubt it to be honest. At the moment I don't fancy my chances if I tried my hand at it.
But with The Site Rush coming along, I might just have a good look at it. Saj P. and Alex Goad are some pretty knowledgable people. If they can really show me a "fail-proof" way of getting into the website flipping business I am more than willing to put their system to the test.
I am still not quite sure if I will buy into this. I do think I will take a very good look at their product though, because I am just way to curious about it :) And the offer could be a bit more interesting even, because there are so many websites promoting it, that offer their own The Site Rush Bonus if you get the product through their link.
