This years Vermont Antiquarian Spring Book Fair will be held again at April 19, 2009. The book fair will be held at the Lake Champlain Exhibition Hall at rear of Sheraton Hotel, South Burlington, VT 05407. There will be rare books, postcards and ephemera with different variety of topics for sale at the book sale.
Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on April 19 from 7:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. Then afterwards the Vermont Antiquarian Spring Book Fair will officially open by 10:00 A.M. and close by 4:00 P.M. This book fair has been held for 16 years and based on previous gate count there were 400 visitors at last years book fair.
There will be an admission fee for adults and children 16 years old. There are 40 retail vendors that the promoters are looking for this year. For retail vendors that are interested in joining this book fair there is a space fee of $190 for a full booth and $125 for a half booth. Vendor will need to list down all items and products to be displayed. Items displayed and not found on the list will have to be removed from the display table.
There will be free parking for the visitors and vendors and the parking area will be in the hotel. The public will have their restrooms in the hotel. There will be no electricity and water provided for the vendors by the promoters.
There will be tables and chairs available for the vendors. The promoters have a budget of $ 2,500 for the advertisement of the Book fair. Ads will be posted in the local newspaper and radio broadcasting of the event. Mailed postcards will be mailed to dealers and customers all over the region.
